  • Creating an effective ad requires a full understanding of the corporate strategy and positioning followed by a willingness to defy convention and portray the value proposition in a witty, creative, and novel manner.
  • The ACSW will comprise a full day Workshop for all participants, followed by another Review Session.
  • Workshop-Day. During the day portion of the Workshop proper, the participants will review corporate strategy and translate strategy to textual and visual messages:
    • Review the Values Discipline and positioning
    • Conduct a Customer Value Mapping exercise
    • Learn various of SCAMPER that underpin management innovation frameworks like Blue Ocean
    • Learn and apply creativity techniques to transcribe a business message into the language of creatives
  • The participants may be organized into competitive teams to foster a spirit of friendly competition. Team Creativity will facilitate the rules and execution of the Ad Creation Challenge
  • Review Session. The post-workshop review session will be a week or two weeks after the Workshop. During this session, Team Creativity will:
    • Review the events of the workshop- what worked, what didnot
    • Facilitate discussion about
      • Teamwork
      • Creativity
      • Breakthrough thinking
      • Corporate Strategy
      • Positioning
    • Present professionally enhanced versions of corporate commercials envisioned by the participants.
